'Relatively' serious

Woodsy Allen and Angela Lansbury meet around the Rialto. Steve Guttenberg and Marlo Thomas John Turturro and Aida Turturro One of the surreal superstar moments to become treasured in the opening-evening party of "Relatively Speaking": Steve Guttenberg being congratulated by Angela Lansbury while Phil Donahue looked on.Such apparently disparate luminaries were put together Thursday evening at Bryant Park Grill to celebrate the Broadway opening from the trio of 1-act plays composed by Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woodsy Allen. Guttenberg, who's rooming in Gotham with co-star Mark Linn-Baker for that limited engagement, stars within the play composed by Allen. Donahue was there with wife Marlo Thomas, the topliner of May's outing.Thomas stated she had not expected the 3 large-title authors to become the continual presences they switched to be, attending every testing and each preview performance."They are funny, but they are serious people," she stated. "They are seriously interested in their work."
