UPDATE: Kris Humphries Re-Signs With New Jersey Nets; More Than Double Previous Salary

The New Jersey Nets announced on Wednesday they have re-signed Kris. Kris had a breakout season last year, and established himself as one of the premier rebounders in the league, Nets General Manager Billy King said in a statement. We look forward to his continued progress and his addition will certainly add stability to our frontcourt rotation. The team did not disclose terms of Kris contract, but a source tells Access Hollywood that the basketball stars deal is more than double his last reported salary. The team has offered Kris a one-year deal worth about $8 million. His most recent salary was a reported $3.2 million per year. The Hump has been playing professionally since 2004, when he earned, per USA Today, $1.4 million playing as a rookie with the Utah Jazz.
